HIgh Visco Counter Rotation MPM
Contra Mixer as the name suggests works on the principle of counter rotation of impeller blades for simultaneous beating and scraping operation. The mixer is highly versatile and mostly used for manufacturing medium to high viscous products.
The Mixing Assembly consists of series of paddle type blades of appropriate shape to move the material back towards the center of the vessel. The paddle type blades are provided on the central shaft which runs through a hollow shaft on which other sets of blades are welded. Both the sets of blades intermesh with each other where one set rotates in clockwise and the other in anti-clockwise direction respectively. Scrapper assembly provided on the anchor also scraps the container wall for thorough and uniform mixing of the material.

Working Principle
The mixer consists of two different blades rotating clockwise and anti-clock wise simultaneously. It consists of two different shafts, one being solid and the other hollow. The solid shaft is provided with multiple paddle blades, which rotate in clock wise direction while the hollow shaft with anchor scrapper blade assembly rotates in anti-clock wise direction. Intimate & homogeneous mixing of products is achieved by contra rotary motion of two different blades & high speed homogenizer.
Applications
The Contra rotary mixer is suitable for manufacturing medium to high viscous products such as creams, shampoo, toothpaste, cold cream, sunscreen cream, face scrubs, moisturizers, detergents, emulisons, adhesives, lubricating agents, paints, resins, etc.
